OREF in collaboration with J. Robert Gladden Society (JRGOS) is pleased to announce the availability of $150,000 for research addressing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Orthopaedics and eliminating disparities in care. 

This grant is made possible by the generous support of the Zimmer Biomet Foundation. 

OREF/JRGOS Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Disparities in Orthopaedic Health Care Research Grant provides $150,000 in funding over two years to stimulate clinical research and provide funding for promising studies to find solutions to problems of diversity, equity, inclusion, and disparities in orthopaedics. This is a solution focused grant. 

The PI applicant must have been a JRGOS member for at least five years and be a current member in good standing. 

Letters of intent are due by June 8, 2023 . All properly submitted LOI will be reviewed by the Research Committee.     

Only selected LOI will advance and then be invited to complete a full proposal.
